À partir du Grand Sault jusqu’à l’embouchure de la rivière, l’accès à l’eau est interdit depuis plus de 100 ans. Nous avons filmé cette portion et ponctuellement installé en milieu de rivière des bandes de toile évoquant la chute du Grand Sault.
La Rivière interdite est aussi une sculpture vidéo en forme de quai. Elle a été installée pendant deux jours sur le site de l’appontement (aujourd’hui disparu) à partir duquel les ballots de papier du moulin du Grand Sault étaient chargés sur des goélettes.

From the Grand Sault to the mouth of the river, access to the water has been forbidden for over 100 years. We filmed this section, and occasionally installed strips of canvas evoking the Grand Sault waterfall in the middle of the river.
The Forbidden River is also a video sculpture in the form of a wharf. It was installed for two days on the site of the dock (no longer in existence) from which bales of paper from the Grand Sault mill were loaded onto schooners
